Our business specializes in carrying vegetables and fruit from our Garden State. The summer produce season starts in late April and May with asparagus and strawberries and culminates with tomatoes and corn from June until October.

Current tomato varieties have been introduced to markets for their durability and longevity however they lack greatly in that old-fashioned jersey tomato flavor. Heirloom Tomatoes have been brought back to the market for their thin skin and rich flavor. Used in restaurants for gourmet dishes, it is easy to understand why this tomato is such a hit. Even though they have been nicknamed the “Ugly Tomato”, Heirloom Tomatoes have recently become the biggest sensation at our Stand.

WIC & Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program:
We accept WIC and Seniors Farmers’ Market checks for all Jersey produce. These checks are distributed by The New Jersey Department of Agriculture.

Several varieties of local honey are available on site for purchase during the summertime. Local honey has also been known to aid in the relief of allergies.

A full selection of jams and fruit butters are also carried throughout the season.

 

 

 

 

Our eggs are fertile and come from free-range, Long Island Red and Americana chickens.

Fertile eggs are known to be of more nutrition. By allowing our chickens to be free range and by having roosters on the premises, we are also enhancing the quality of our eggs.

 

 

 

 

We carry a wide assortment of pies that correspond to when our local fruit is in season.

Our cookies are from Tate’s Bake Shop and are a great seller. They were originally sold in Long Island are now available all season long at Linda’s. Customers crave this thin and crunchy cookie and are thankful that they no longer have to make a journey out to Long Island to enjoy their taste.

Both pies and cookies are a great dessert to bring home or to a friends’ when it is just too hot to turn on that oven!

Delivery of Trees and Plants

We carry a great selection of trees, shrubs, perennials, annuals, tropicals, ground coverings, bedding plants, vegetable plants, and herbs. We pride ourselves in offering a wide variety of items that have different bloom-times, do best in specified sun and soil conditions, and that are deer resistant.

Linda's son, David Poliacik, is also available for Landscaping installations and removal of trees and shrubs.

We have carried Bobbex-R Animal Repellent for over 10 years. Our customers use this spray to deter deer, rabbits, squirrels, groundhogs, chipmunks, and voles.

This product not only keeps the animals away but acts as a growth stimulant as well. Great for trees, shrubs, bulbs, annuals, and perennials, Bobbex-R can be sprayed year-round.
